South Asia Team Update #32012 January 12 While watching all of this happen before our eyes, I can't help but feel so sad for these lost people. At the same time, I am reminded of the overwhelming joy that we have in knowing Jesus Christ. He has conquered death and now we can look forward to an eternity with our Lord as well as other believers. South Asia Team Update #22012 January 09 We were able to help the one local doctor with this free clinic for the surrounding community members, some of whom walked seven hours to get there! It was amazing to see how God used this small church, one doctor and a handful of volunteers to bless 80 people with a variety of medical conditions. Our team was able to participate in taking blood pressures, temperatures, general organization, and praying over each individual (regardless of whether or not they were a believer). South Asia Team Update #12012 January 04 Greetings from team South Asia! Here are a few things we've been up to: we have gone into two different villages to share our testimonies, scripture, praise and worship, and to fellowship with other believers around their native foods and delicious tea. The South Asia Team Has Arrived!2011 December 30 Greetings from South Asia. We feel a kinship with our hosts already. We are enjoying an evening of chai, lentils, cauliflower, and hearing more about their ministries. South Asia Team On Its Way2011 December 29 Waiting for our final connection to South Asia we are surrounded by more nationalities than we can count in this Middle Eastern airport. We are all well ... some are sleeping underneath the chairs while others are reading or people watching. We should get to our final destination in about 9-10 hours. |
