Middle East Team Update #32012 January 08 We've met a lot of people who seem to have a real longing for the Word. It's encouraging to get to spend time with them and hopefully plant a couple seeds in their minds. Middle East Team Update #22012 January 05 We've had unusual adventures. One thing we've learned is that we never know what we'll be doing next, and it's most fun if you just make up your mind to be flexible and enjoy whatever comes up. Middle East Team Update #12012 January 01 Americans value doing, which is so different than the people here, who value being. We have spent so much time here DOING nothing, but hopefully BEING a lot. We've had to constantly remind each other that we ARE being useful and that maybe God has given us this period of "uselessness" to teach us our true power: prayer. The Middle East Team Has Arrived!2011 December 29 The team is here, well-fed, and doing well. They were obviously tired after a long journey, but they've been troopers and in good spirits. I can see already that they will be doing great. |
