Q: What is your favorite book and/or quote?

A: Too many good books and quotes to choose from so ... I am currently reading Through Gates of Splendor, and a few favorite words from it are ...

 

"The old life of chasing things that are of a temporal sort seemed absolutely insane."

 

"But God, who ordains men of His own choosing and moves them into the accomplishment of His eternal purposes, had other plans."

Q: What excites you about the Lightbearers' vision?

A: People who have never heard the name of Jesus living half way around the world will get to hear the most powerful Name of all time just because a student back in mid-America is paying rent and wanting to grow in their knowledge and love of Him.

 

Q: Other than Jesus, what Bible character would you want to have lunch with?

A: Job

 

Q: What does a fun, relaxing day look like for you?

A: Playing outside in the sunshine ... being surrounded by the God's amazing artwork ... watching some cute little animals play!
