2011 Arkansas Student Retreat

Mornings would start with personal Bible study. The West Fork House offered plenty of secluded getaways to curl up in.

Each apartment would meet together a few times throughout the weekend and tell each other their life stories. The house leader would participate as well.

Mmm… Scrumptious.

There was plenty of free time to get a lively game of volleyball going in the large backyard.

Others opted for indoor games, which turned out to be just as lively, as anyone who's played Slapjack can attest.

Meetings were held out in the open-air barn.

At this particular meeting, Ginny Tittel, our Director of Operations and interim Director of Missions, got the students engaged in the missions side of Lightbearers. She introduced each of the destinations for the student trips that year, telling them a bit about each partner and what the students would be doing during their stay.

A few brave students went to the front to try to pinpoint on a map where each destination country was. The crowd was eager to help.
