- This region is the historical origin of Judaism, Christianity and Islam
- The climate is generally arid and hot, with several major rivers providing irrigation
- Islam is by far the largest religion in the Middle East
- The three top languages are Arabic, Persian and Turkish
- Economies range from being very poor (Palestine, Yemen)to extremely wealthy (Qatar, Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates)
- Many countries located around the Persian Gulf have large quantities of crude oil
Past Projects in Middle East
Funding was provided in 2009 to cover the costs of publishing, printing and distributing two important Christian resource books. One of the books, The Prophecies of the Last Prophet, was the first of its kind to be published in this area and has been an effective tool in reaching Muslims for Christ. Please pray that this ministry would continue to be fruitful in introducing the Gospel to unbelievers.
